yes they could have been scribes so yes. people started scribe school around five years old so they should be really good and smart.my character name is tut. also the school was taught by the priests also the priests they had run the whole school. the scribe students have spent 12 years in scribe school. the scribe school had to memorize over 700 hierogyphs. it was really not easy inscribe school. 1 reason sometimes lasted from dawn until sunset. anthoer reason is that the teachers were strict and often treated their students harshly. the scribe had to write five records which were food supply also census. also taxes and the laws.
