I am a scribe. My name is Giovanni. I an 36 years old. I went to scribe school for 12 years. I worked for priest and nobles. Everbody could be a scribe exept for school at woman. I started school at the age of 5. Priest taught me. I learned over 700 hieroglyphs. School wasn't easy. Priest use to beat us. Instead of paper we used papyrus. Instead of pencils we used sharpened reeds. We carried our supplies in a writting tablet. Our tablet hung over our shoulder. We recorded about grains food supply and so on. Scribes wrote a lot because they were writers.
